SPA OFFICERS 2011-2012
The officers of SPA are the: President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, and three Regents. All officers are elected at the Annual Meeting of the Corporation from among the Fellows and serve for a term of one year, or until their successors are elected and qualified.
The President presides over the Annual and Special Meetings of the Corporation and of the Council and appoints all committees and fills, by appointment, any vacancy that may occur in the Council.
The Vice-President attends all meetings of the Council and presides over the meeting in the absence of the President.
The Secretary-Treasurer keeps the records of the Corporation and receives and duly accounts for all sums of money belonging to the Corporation.
The President-Elect attends all meetings of the Council and automatically becomes the President upon the vacation or end of term of that office.
