The Southern Psychiatric Association (SPA), and the Louisiana Psychiatric Medical Association, are pleased to invite your participation in our 2013 Annual Meeting,
The meeting will be held at the Hilton SanDestin in Destin, Florida, September 18-22, 2013. The scientific programming will begin on Thursday, September 19 and continue until noon on Saturday, September 21, 2013 and will allow for plenty of time for interaction with our participants. We are anticipating an attendance of 200 physicians. A meeting brochure is available. A draft agenda is highlighted below.
SPA’s membership includes about 200 psychiatrists from around the country. Its purpose is to provide quality continuing medical education for physicians in the specialty of psychiatric medicine and to foster the study of the cause, treatment and prevention of mental illness and promote improvements in the standards of medical care and treatment for psychiatric disorders and further research and education in psychiatric medicine.
Participation in our annual meeting has proven to be a cost effective marketing tool to promote name recognition and product identification. Some of our past supporters include Pfizer, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Astra Zeneca, Odyssey Research, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, LaAmistad Foundation, Eli Lilly, and The Psychiatrists’ Program. We consider your financial support invaluable in educating our members. Your support will be listed in the program and also acknowledged at the various functions.
